Bio Research & Technology

Bio Research & Technology is an Australian company, combining Australian and Japanese interests - both business and scientific - and is the first company to develop a totally natural water treatment system based on Phototrophic Bacteria.

The Bio Research & Technology system has been widely used in Japan with great success (see Existing Installations ), providing businesses and government with the means to naturally treat waste water, without the use of chemicals, large amounts of power or sludge.

The systems we build have very low maintenance costs, produce exceptionally clean water, and are suitable for sites which produce high volumes of highly contaminated water. We have successfully implemented the first system in Australia, at the Angove's winery in Renmark, South Australia.

This pilot has reduced its BOD levels from over 3,500 ppm to below 10 ppm without using chemicals.
