Re–sew–cool craft kits are hand-produced in Melbourne, by sister outlaws.
Sister outlaws are: Leanne, Julianne and Lynne. They say that they’d be in-laws if any of them had done the required marrying.
The re–sew–cool range is offered for those wanting their own crafting action, but with a sustainable bent. In their own words: “environmentally sane kits for the craft crazy”.
Sister Outlaws are kinda fed-up-to-the-back-teeth with the cheap, new synthetic stuff still being churned out of factories, shipped over the globe, and endlessly spilling into shopping centres.
Instead of seething fruitlessly, they’ve joined the bands of eco-friendly crafters around the world, designing with what they already have in their stash.
Their “99% recycled” claim comes from the fact that practically everything in a re–sew–cool kit is enjoying a second or even a third life.
Each kit will vary slightly from another, and will include recycled or salvaged natural felts, buttons, trims, and yarns. If sister outlaws could figure out a way to give you a recycled sewing needle they’d do it!
Their packaging is minimal, and they use an eco-friendly printer dude and recycled paper.
