We are a local action planning committee which is a non-for profit organisation established in 1988. Our main goal of local action planning is to involve the community in identifying and also prioritising the modern national resource management issues in the region.
We have been very successful in doing so and have achieved more than 38500HA of all groundworks spread across 1200 project sites that directly support 750 landholders and achieve more than 4500HA of biodiversity plantings. This plantings are funded by the local, state and commonwealth governments as well as other organisations.
It is a goal to provide information that supports our long-term land management solutions. We undertake various projects such as bee friendly farms, regenerated mentor farming, farming, community monitoring, projects in support of threatened Mallee Birds, bat monitoring and many more.
