AACT Against Animal Cruelty Australia

We here at AACT Against Animal Cruelty Australia have organised many actions and events involving a variety of associations, councils and environmental consultants over the last twelve months to combat animal cruelty.

For World Environment Day on 5 June 2008 AACT held a stall in conjunction with the Huon Valley Environment Centre and Food Not Bombs in Franklin Square, and handed out free vegetarian burgers and sausages thanks to Australian Eatwell and Banjos Bakery.

World Earth Day was on 22 April and AACT held a stall in Franklin Square to raise people's awareness about the impact that livestock farming has on the environment and also to promote a brilliant new film.
