Nangak Tamboree Wildlife Sanctuary Indigenous Plant nursery

The Nangak Tamboree Indigenous Plant Nursery is part of the La Trobe University Nangak Tamboree Wildlife Sanctuary which was set up in 1967 as a project in restoration and management of indigenous flora and fauna. 
 
The Wildlife Sanctuary's main aim is to provide the public with opportunities to learn about indigenous flora and fauna through engaging with the community.
 
La Trobe University is currently the caretaker of more than 30 hectares of Bushland and Wildlife Sanctuary throughout the Melbourne Campus and is widely recognised for the natural landscape at all campuses.
