People and Animal Welfare Society (PAWS)

People & Animal Welfare Society Inc is a non-profit organization promoting community welfare through Ahimsa (non-violence) and is largely staffed by volunteers.PAWS People & Animal Welfare Society was formed in the year 2000 and incorporated in the year 2004. 

It is essentially a community group aimed at including members, supporters and volunteers who feel inspired by the goals of PAWS. PAWS represent the culture of non-violence and PAWS members try to exemplify this principle in their day to day lives.

Our vision is to build a society where animals and humans can live peacefully without any harm, exploitation or abuse. Our mission is to initiate, sustain and inspire environmental sustainability, responsible agriculture, community welfare and education that display harmonious and productive relationships between human and non-human animals thereby creating greater peace within society.
