Community for Coastal & Cassowary Conservation

Community for Coastal & Cassowary Conservation (or C4) is organised and run by volunteers without any Government financial assistance. 

Our approach to our eco conservation can be best described as: "KNOWING, KEEPING AND SHARING OUR PLACE."

We are a consortium of local community groups, local councils, government departments and other agencies such as CSIRO.

Community for Coastal & Cassowary Conservation undertakes to protect Mission Beach's natural values to ensure a healthy environment, green community and positive economy. We believe Mission Beach can develop and maintain its unique identity including being a place where you can still see a cassowary in the wild.
