No Plastic Bags

Through our 'Say NO to Plastic Bags' campaign, Clean Up Australia, is working with Australian Government, the Australian Retailers Association, Stockland Shopping Centres and many retailers has helped reduce plastic bag usage in Australia.

Clean Up Australia has been committed to getting rid of plastic bags from 2001. Since then, supermarkets have reduced use by 41% and overall, plastic bag numbers have been reduced by 34% - that's over 2 billion bags - but there's still more work to be done.

Our 'Say NO to Plastic Bags' program encourages shoppers and retailers to start using green alternatives and increase plastic bag recycling.
