The purpose of the meetings is for people who have been affected by asbestos to meet like-minded people in an informal way to share stories and make new friends in a relaxed environment.

AMSG is non-denominational and apolitical. Everyone is welcome to come along and share their story while gaining support, guidance and assistance from fellow members. Some of our members report the benefits of the meetings as offering:

guidance and information on issues relevant to living with an asbestos related condition
carer networks and support
information on asbestos issues in the local community, as well as nationally and globally
