Air Quality Assessment, Testing and Control

Poor selection of a respirator or incorrect fit can result in occupational illness. The Work Health and Safety Regulation requires that a number of factors be taken into account. Differing face shapes and sizes, facial hair and the specific purpose of the respirator means that workers must have the respirator which is tailored to their individual needs. 

The Australian/New Zealand Standard states that industries must use properly maintain Respiratory Protective Equipment. The laws also states that fit testing must be performed at least once a year. 

Robson Environmental provides a cost effective respirator fit testing and training service to to ensure an adequate seal around the face and verify the level of protection against hazardous airborne contaminants and air pollution such as asbestos, dusts, mists, gases, fumes, vapours and microbiological agents including mould.
