Mangnolia Garden Bench

Magnolia Garden Bench is carved from 5 mm thick aluminum sheet using an accurate laser jet, a process that leaves the edges crusty and beautiful. It becomes three-dimensional with folds that define the sides, the base and the back. It seems as light as a folded sheet of paper but is as robust as the aluminum with which it is built.

The long side shows the folded surfaces that give arrangement to the sheet. Sol Actevo with the top fold underlining the structural and material continuity between the two dimensions, accentuating the bench's lightness.
