Termite Inspection

All of our inspections are passed out in accordance with the Australian Standard AS3660.2 . It is not compulsory that inspections be passed out at least once a year.

There are 2 kinds of inspections: -

1) Surface Sub-floor Inspection: - It is applicable mostly in timber floored homes and it also includes the under floor of your residence or what is generally identified as the sub-floor. This area can be viewed by cutting or lifting of inspection tips or utilizing the most recent fiber optic boroscope technology. This method is much more favorable for polished floors as it does not need to cut inspection points. Instead of holes, fibre optics the size of a 5c piece will be drilled in the curve of rooms and then connecting with a color matched timber dowel on completion.

2) Surface Inspection: - A surface inspection is related to all homes and will cover all available areas such as roof voids and the External & internal of the premises. A report is accumulated highlighting any termite movement or damage found. It will also formulate circumstances that make your home more favorable to termites e.g. garden timbers, poor drainage, plumbing leaks, etc. It may also contain any action recommendation and signs of preceding treatments. Depending on the construction type of your residence a more persistent examination possibly will be suggested.
