Reasons to Install LED Lights

We have several of our clients ask us, I've already installed CFL or halogen lights and they are already very low in energy usage. Why install LED?

Well, there are several reasons to install LED over any lighting you have.

The major advantage of installing energy efficient lighting is the long life span. It can span up to 80,000 hours - that is, which is eight to 10 times longer than standard halogen lamps.

LEDs are very flexible as they can be combined into any shape to produce very efficient illumination. Even individual LEDs can be dimmed for better control of light, colour and distribution. With LEDs, you can design your space to however colour you'd want to emit.

LED lights will instantly start at full brightness and can be switched off and on frequently without affecting the LED’s lifetime or light emission. That means, you'll get illumination - fast. 

LEDs are also famous for their durability. Featuring no filaments, LEDs are resistant to shock, vibrations and external impacts. That will make them great for outdoor lighting systems for rough conditions.

Best of all - LED lights are ecologically friendly. They are free from any toxic chemicals such as mercury and are 100% recyclable. This is one of the reasons why LED lights are the green alternative. Although most conventional fluorescent lighting are every efficient, they  contain a multitude of materials like mercury that are dangerous for the environment.

In fact, the long operational life time span mentioned above means also that one LED light bulb can save material and production of 25 incandescent light bulbs.
