Often overlooked by visitors to Victoria the Grampians can give you a view of Victoria not available anywhere else.
Gaze out from lookouts atop the ranges and see the region as it is laid out before you as nature's own magnificent canvas. Hear about the history of the region and the towns that surround it. You will learn of the early settlers struggles to survive and the culture of local aboriginals and their beliefs.
Look back through history and see the art of Indigenous Australians. Recent investigation revealed Aboriginals have inhabited this region for up to 32,000 years and that up to 70% of Indigenous rock art in Victoria is in this region with well over 100 sites identified. Only a few are accessible to tourists.
