Make Our Mud Bricks

Make it Mud bricks have a developed site at Nora on the South Coast of NSW.

Make it Mud bricks are made by mixing or "paddling" together selected clays, sand, cumulative and water then insertion the mix into moulds to sun dry.

A small amount of bitumen mixture is included in the mix to improve the water resistance of the brick, enabling them to be used in exposed situations.

The paddling process allows the resources to fully combine and the clay particles to realign and bond strongly together once dried. All our materials are screened prior to mixing to remove any rocks or debris.
