Bead Foods

Bead Foods is a manufacturer and leading distributor of a unique range of dairy and soy foods, dips and soups throughout Australia.

We provide bulk products for the food services industry as well as products for retail sale in major supermarket outlets, various health foods stores, delis throughout Australia and selected South East Asian markets.

Our core competencies are in manufacturing and distributing organic and conventional varieties of our product range. Our current brands include Fresh Foodies, Gippsland Dairy and Simply Better.

Bead Foods is an Australian-owned private company established in July 2001, after the merger of Bead Refrigerated Foods, who had been involved in the organic dairy industry and Simply Better Foods, manufacturers of organic soy products.

In 2007 Bead Foods acquired Rowena Foods the manufacturers of the authentic cinema Choc Top.

With over 24 years experience, our key focus is to develop innovative nutritional and, where possible, organic products, utilising Australian produce when available. Continual support of our organic producers is also reflected in the fact that they have been provided an ownership base in the company.

Bead Foods is dedicated to producing quality products. This is highlighted by the incorporation of an onsite laboratory, full time microbiologists and food technology/product developers.

The building of new facilities accompanied the amalgamation. Bead Foods now occupies 35,000 square feet between two buildings in Dandenong, Victoria. This includes a 17,000 square wet foods manufacturing zone while the remaining 18,000 squares are a combination of warehouse, distribution and administrative offices.
